Oldest [family unit] with Chaplin Ylistaron residents. Father was Filip Ambrosiuksenpoika [Ambrosiuk’s “boy”], who died in the war 1613. [Filipintytär is “Filips’ daughter”]

1st Marriage: Bertel "Backman" Traveled around Germany at age 30 around 1643. Father Karle was a seasoned soldier. Antti Antinpoika’s Vaisa became famous in the Vaismaa area [Karle fought with Vaisa]. Rumpalina [Bertel?] was in army 1629, traveled in Germany 1633, promoted in 1636, 2nd Lieutenant in 1639 1st Lieutenant in 1642. [This would be during the thirty year war]. Acquired by purchase [list of names and places within Finland?] At the same time he purchased Yrjo Simonpojan property, 2/3 of the land and house together with Pakkala getting about 1 1/6 “acres’ with a house that had very small rooms. The children were taken in and given the name Backman. Bertel was German and Norwegen skilled [military], so many of the Kyro home boys spent many years in the military. Many soldiers brought souvenirs from the war. Some homes prospered, some had their ships [boats].Bertel was a sharp man, because history books would admire him and his wife. Matti Wiik married the rich widow Elisabeth Filipin. Still in 1660 Bertel’s children got their inheritance, as well as Bertel’s uncle’s inheritance.

2nd Marriage : In Isokyrö [old Kyro] about 1644, Matti Viik, died slender in 1685, buried in old Kyros church cemetery 5-17-1685.
Three times memories were written in history books, so Matti’s works could be remembered. Matti was Turun’s well spoken professor. Matti’s father was Paavali Niilopoika . University student through 1640. And educated at university 1648-54. In 1659 fluent as court reader and writer, but a Sir Jaakko Lillihook tore his world book into pieces and threw them into the court stove. In 1668 Matti got a pardon from the judge. In 1674 the northern territory was reduced, then he was responsible for the southern portion as a court reader. He held that position[office] where he lived in 1656 with his wife Elisabeth. And lived there [Isokyro] until death.
