I was born in Calvin on 26 March, 1923 and your grandma, Etta Copelan came to help my mother and your father, Pete, took the team of horses and sleigh to get the doctor. I suppose I was born before he got back but your grandmother took care of Mom and I the day I was born. Etta put the first dress on me.
